Derek Jensen
I teach golfers of every skill level, age, and at every stage of the game. Whether you are just starting out or are looking to break par I can help you understand the strengths and weaknesses in your game, develop a practice plan, and help you achieve your goals.
My teaching philosophy revolves around trying to communicate however the student learns best so whether you are a visual learner, performance oriented learner, or feel oriented player I can supply you with the knowledge and skills to help you improve no matter how you understand the game in your own way. I believe every swing is unique just like every person is unique and will work with your body and swing characteristics to achieve the goals you have set for yourself.
I also take a great interest in club fitting as well. I enjoy learning about the new technology in clubs and shafts and how each advancement can make all golfers better regardless of skill level. The best feeling is when I finish a fitting and show customers results and they can see that oftentimes it’s not always their swing causing their game issues and that by changing equipment and understanding how it all works together can drastically improve their game.
